Versiplug Instructions
STEP 1. With your Boat or PWC on a trailer or stand, unscrew and remove your factory drain plug(s)
STEP 2. Screw the Versiplug into the factory flange with the installed o-ring or thread sealant.
That’s it! Check bilge from time to time to make sure the Versiplug it is working properly.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us any time.
Important Note:
Versiplugs will only drain your hull while the vessel is underway or removed from the water. (Trailer, Lift, Floating Dock or Beached) Versiplugs do not leak when they are closed. They have a precision machined seat and use high-tolerance precision balls.
While myself and many other people have left their vessels floating for days and weeks without any issues, We recommend keeping your original plugs in a compartment of your Boat or PWC where you can get them if you need them. Versiplugs are extremely reliable but to be as safe as possible, If you are going to leave your Boat or PWC in the water unattended for long periods of time or overnight, we recommend installing The Night Cap(s) (link below) or reinstalling the factory plugs.
We would rather make anyone that uses the Versiplug be conscious of any possible issue than be caught off guard.
